Social Media Specialist Needed

As a Social Media Specialist at Crystal Clear ESL, you’ll play a vital role in amplifying our brand presence and engaging with our community across various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Linktree and YouTube. Your creativity, attention to detail, and passion for ESL education will be essential in crafting compelling content that resonates with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, community engagement, and conversions.
  • Create high-quality, engaging content tailored to each platform’s unique audience and best practice. Use Canva and other editing tools to create cohesive content that supports business objectives and resonates with our brand.
  • Manage and curate content calendars, ensuring consistent and timely posting schedules.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to align social media efforts with overall business goals and marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor, analyse and report back (monthly) on social media performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to optimise results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing and ESL education.
  • Ad hoc duties as time permits.

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts and content creation, preferably in the digital education or ESL industry.
  • Impeccible command of English and high attention to detail.
  • English as a Second Language industry knowledge.
  • Demonstrable experience optimising use of social media platforms for business purposes, including: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Self-starter and creative idea-generator.
  • Some availability during weekdays from 9:00-15:00 GMT to correspond with current staff schedules.
  • Proficiency in Canva and in graphic design.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

This role will fit perfectly into an existing portfolio of other income-generating activities and will require up to 8-15 hours per week at busy times. The contract will pay $200-250 USD/month, subject to experience. We pay by WISE bank transfer on an invoice-basis.
